Tanya Haynes
Director of Blue Door Practice
I am the Founder and Director of The Blue Door Practice, where I manage a multi-disciplinary team of clinical excellence and lead the strategic development of our mental health services. My expertise lies in all areas of the field of Relationships and in designing and implementing mental health systems that support high-performing individuals and organisations.
With over 30 years of experience, I am an expert in relationships and have worked extensively with people and organisations to enhance mental health across the board. My work includes developing tailored mental health frameworks, consulting on organisational dynamics and delivering high-impact workshops and one-on-one support for senior executives navigating the pressures of leadership and work life balance. I also have extensive experience in crisis management and intervention, helping organisations and individuals respond effectively to high-stakes challenges.
Beyond my private practice, I have served as a Governor at two leading prep schools, advising on student and staff wellbeing, crisis intervention strategies, and pastoral care.
My expertise in systemic consultation has reinforced my ability to assess and implement large-scale mental health initiatives within complex institutions.
I began my career in the NHS, specialising in Child, Adolescent, and Family Mental Health, before transitioning to private practice. Over the years, I have developed an international consulting practice, advising clients in the UK, India, Europe, the Middle East and the United States on complex mental health challenges.
My approach is systemic and results-driven, equipping organisations and their leaders with the tools to foster resilience, manage workplace dynamics, and create sustainable, high-functioning professional environments. My forte is in making the complex simple and accessing relational solutions from a position of expert clinical assessment.
